Tender description

Liverpool City Council is to undertake a market engagement exercise to canvass external providers of digital screen advertising structures, to help shape the tender/future specification of large format digital advertising sites across the city. Liverpool City Council is proposing to invite tenders for the erection of large format digital screens on Council controlled land for the purpose of ‘out of home advertising' to generate a revenue share for the Council as land owner. The contract to supply this service will require operators to construct, manage and maintain the structures and screens for the purpose of out of home advertising. Currently the Council is considering presenting 12 prime sites for development for a network of sites across the city centre and main roads. The proposed sites would all need to be on the public highway, but could be in the city centre and/or on key roads into the city. The purpose of this exercise is: 1. To engage with interested providers, to collate comments, views and suggestions to ensure that provider perspectives are taken into account in the planning and future delivery of the service; 2. To inform the market of LCC’s plans for the tender for the erection of large format digital screens on Council controlled land for the purpose of ‘out of home advertising’.
