Tender description

Located to the east of the City Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, Abbots House is a residential care home for older people. As part of the City Council’s strategic plans, the long term role of the home will that of providing specialist care for older people with mental health problems. Accordingly, the City Council are inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced building contractors wishing to be included in a select list to tender for the works. The works involve the phased internal adaptation and refurbishment of the accommodation to create a Centre of Excellence in specialist care services. The largest component of the works is of a building nature and mechanical and electrical services are included, along with decorations and floor coverings.
