Tender description

Hampshire Constabulary is relocating both the current Southampton Central Police station and satellite workplaces throughout the city to a new building due for practical completion in January 2011. Five sites, housing in the region of five hundred staff members, shall either change from its current function or cease to remain part of the Constabulary’s estates portfolio. As such a variety of removal services are required. The current Southampton Central site is to be decommissioned and handed over to the landlord within strict timescales and should be considered the priority in respect of any deadlines for removal services. It is envisaged that removal of equipment shall take place during February and March of 2011. However, an initial move from the existing Southampton Central site is required in October 2010. Further information relating to the services required under this contract are detailed under TQ963 PQQ Specification Document 2 and TQ963 Draft Removal Requirements Document 3. Organisations should ensure they are able to meet these requirements prior to completing the PQQ.
