The Reporting and Collection of Data Regarding the Attendance and Exclusion of Children in Care in Sefton.

Tender description

Sefton Virtual School wishes to commission a service to monitor the attendance and exclusion for children in the care of the local authority who are placed in schools or settings outside of the local authority. This will include children from reception to Year 11. The use of a robust tracking system will provide immediate oversight of the attendance of children and allow for earlier intervention as soon as attendance dips. The attendance of each child should be monitored on a daily basis using national specified codes for absence and/or other educational provision. Where necessary and upon request the service should be able to provide reports on weekly, monthly and year to date attendance within a short time frame of 1 working day maximum. SATS scores and GCSE attainments should also be provided within 6 weeks of their publication. The service should comply with council policies relating to equality of opportunity and confidentiality.
