Support Services for Victims of Child Abuse

Tender description

The Ministry of Justice has provided dedicated funding to Police & Crime Commissioners to tackle Child Sexual Abuse/Exploitation. The sum allocated to Devon & Cornwall is £140,000. The Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall Alison Hernandez invites applications for funding to deliver emotional and practical support services for individuals, who are victims of child sexual abuse either recent or historic. Organisations or groups who have a proven track record of working with victims of CSA/CSE are invited to apply for funding, especially those who are registered with the Devon and Cornwall Victim Care Network (VCN). Other organisations/groups applications are also invited to apply provided they are prepared to apply and register with the Devon and Cornwall VCN if successful in their application for a grant. Services funded under this contract are intended to form part of the services available to victims in accordance with articles 8 and 9 of the EU Directive establishing minimum standards on the rights, support and protection of victims.
