Leicester City Council invites Tenders for the provision of 4 Sub-Compact Suction Sweepers adhering to the following specification as a minimum: Diesel Engine, 28 — 35 kW, Directive 97/68/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, Stage 3A, Directive 2004/ 26/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21.4.2004 amending Directive 97/68/EC on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to measures against the emission of gaseous and particulate pollutants from internal combustion engines to be installed in non-road mobile machinery. Payload 480 — 610 kg. Wheel base 1 350 — 1 690 mm. Turning Circle (kerb to kerb) 3 200 — 6 000 mm. Travel Speed 25 — 45 km/h. Sweeping Speed 0 — 16 km/h. Sweeping width range from 1 250 mm min to 2 250 mm max. Hopper Volume Capacity, 0,9 — 1,1 m³. Hopper discharge height, 1 300 — 1 400 mm. In cab noise levels 72-75 dB(A). Electrically heated windscreen. Road fund licence (12 months). EUnited PM10 compliant. Suppliers should note that the anticipated usage will be up to 60 hours per week. The supplier should ensure the proposal is robust enough to meet this requirement.
