QU029 - Provision of a Corporate Alcohol, Illicit Drug and Substance Testing Programme

Tender description

Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of a corporate alcohol, illicit drug and substance testing programme which will include safety critical roles, and others to be determined. This contract will be for a period of 1 year and it is anticipated it will commence 1st July 2016 until 30th June 2017. Birmingham City Council has a programme of testing for alcohol, illicit drugs and substance misuse. The testing process required is to be undertaken on a random basis, or where there is ‘for cause.’ or as part of rehabilitation. The testing provider will be expected to outline the methodology for random selection for tests and collect the signed agreement from the worker, to undertake the tests.
