QU028 - Provision of Temporary Agency HGV/LGV Vehicle Technicians

Tender description

Birmingham City Council requires HGV/LGV Vehicle Technicians on a temporary basis to deliver a high quality comprehensive repair and maintenance service for the city's diverse fleet of vehicles ranging from a car to a 32 ton compaction vehicle. Each temporary engagement will be initially for a period of 6 months with the option to extend based on satisfactory performance or until the position is advertised as a permanent role. Providers are able to submit relevant CV’s throughout the duration of the advertisement. Upon receipt of candidate CV’s, the Council will evaluate the relevant skills and experience of the candidate against the Person Specification as detailed within the quotation document. If the candidate meets the relevant criteria, they will then be invited to attend an interview.
