Provision of Support Planning and Brokerage Services

Tender description

The Council is seeking to complement and enhance its Support Planning and Brokerage offer to all eligible Enfield residents with social care needs by establishing an agreement with suitably qualified and experienced providers, from the private, voluntary and statutory sectors to ensure flexible, high quality support is available to all residents. Service Providers will be required to provide a range of services to Service Users, including but not limited to person-centred support planning, brokering of a care package in line with the agreed Support Plan, and administration and financial management activities. Assessing and reviewing of Service User needs is performed in-house by care practitioners and will not be a requirement of this agreement. The Council wish to undertake a preliminary market consultation exercise to ascertain expressions of interest from potential providers, with a view to gaining their input and expertise into the service design, procurement process and contracting model to help shape the project to achieve its greatest potential. The Council are looking to test the market appetite for this opportunity, to better understand the capability and capacity of the market and to learn more about the future plans of potential providers. The Council are looking to secure Support Planning and Brokerage services for all eligible residents with a social care need ensuring individuals have a variety of options available to them.
