Pendennis Castle CIP - Tea Room Fit Out (Works)

Tender description

The overall project at Pendennis Castle is to develop the visitor experience, improve the interpretation and tailor the offer to the tourist and local markets, taking into account seasonal variations to visitor mix. This phase of the project will update the Tea Room/ Cafe aiming to address limitations on the catering offer, namely space in terms of storage, preparation and seating. Indicative scope of works: - Demolition, and removal of existing tea room and associated equipment; - General make good to existing spaces; - New kitchen, service area, preparation area, pot wash and storage (including building works and equipment); - New servery; - New wall hatch opening (approx. 800mm wide); - All relevant M&E Services (Inc. ventilation requirements for the new kitchen); - New seating area; - Floor finishes; - Wall finishes; - New glazed entrance enclosure. English Heritage invites interested suppliers to complete the Pre Qualification Questionnaire and return it by the due date. A minimum of three suppliers will be invited to tender based on the content of their PQQ submissions.
