Tender description

‘This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is for Ophthalmic Capital Equipment and associated accessories and it is split into 9 Lots: Lot 1: Optical Biometry Corneal Topography Placibo and Scheimpflug units Corneal Cross Linking System Specular Microscopy Keratometry and Associated Accessories. Lot 2: Ophthalmic Ultrasound Equipment — including Biomicroscopy (UBM) Scanners B-Scanners Pachymeters Biometry Units (A Scan) and Associated Accessories. Lot 3: Ophthalmic Surgical Equipment — including Phacoemulsification Units Phacoemulsification and Vitreoretinal Units Ophthalmic Cryosurgical Units Vitreoretinal Surgery Units and Associated Accessories. Lot 4: Ophthalmic Laser Equipment — including ECP Femtosecond Diode and Cyclodiode ALT/SLT Photoablating Photocoagulating Photodisrupting and Associated Accessories. Lot 5: Slit Lamps (Non-Portable Portable or Hand Held) Autorefractors Field Analysers Aberrometry Units Tonometers and Associated Accessories. Lot 6: Retinal Imaging Systems — including Fundus Cameras (Portable and Non-Portable) Retinal Tomography/OCT Retinal Angiographic OCT-Angio and Associated Accessories. Lot 7: Non-Mydriatic Retinal Cameras approved for Diabetic Eye Screening and Associated Accessories. Lot 8: Ophthalmoscopes Retinoscopes and Associated Accessories. Lot 9: Ophthalmic Furniture and Associated Accessories. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure across all Lots will be in the region of 21 000 000 to 30 750 000 GBP in the first year of this Framework Agreement however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement’. ‘Precise quantities are unknown.
