Tender description
Enfield’s Youth Offending Service is seeking interest in the delivery of an Appropriate Adult Service for Juveniles in Enfield. The purpose of the service would be to support, advise and assist detainees in a police station who are juveniles under the age of 18. The service must provide high quality support and assistance to young people aged between 10-17 arrested for an offence, interviewed or charged, where a parent/guardian is unable to attend the custody area in order to act as an Appropriate Adult. The service must ensure the availability of an Appropriate Adult 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The service need will meet the requirements of Enfield Police and therefore, the provider will have a proven track record of delivery within the Metropolitan Police area (London).
