Market Engagement Event - Trafford Council's Alternative Provision and One to One Tutoring Service

Trafford Council is looking to establish a DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System) framework in order to meet Trafford’s statutory duty as set out by the DFE, local authorities are responsible for arranging suitable full-time education for permanently excluded pupils, and for other pupils who, because of illness or other reasons, would not receive suitable education without such provision. This will require providers to respond quickly to referrals and work flexibly and creatively to meet the need of the young people. The framework is intended primarily for use by Trafford Council’s Special Educational Needs service and the Virtual School Team and all referrals will come from these teams. The Tender will be in 2 lots • Lot 1: Group-based alternative provision • Lot 2: One to One Tutoring The framework will run initially from 1st September 2016 to 31st July 2019 with an option to extend for a further two full years to July 2021.
