LCRIBS Programme Venue Hire within the Borough of Knowsley

Please note that this opportunity is only applicable for organisations based within the Borough of Knowsley Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council (KMBC) is a delivery partner in the Liverpool City Region Integrated Business Support Programme (LCRIBS). The programme is being commissioned by the Department for Communities and Local Government. The programme will be funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). It will be positioned between pre-start/start-up support delivered by others programmes and more specialist or bespoke support delivered by the private sector and/or national provision. The whole programme will be delivered in Knowsley (to eligible SMEs only) by a series of individual business interventions. It is anticipated that the programme will benefit over 200 of the SME businesses based in Knowsley. During the period of the list and whenever a council venue is not available, the council may need to book venues for businesses to meet with consultants. The council is seeking to establish a list of providers who can provide meeting rooms/conference facilities in the borough. We require in terms of venues two different sizes. Firstly, a meeting room/venue that can take up to 4 people e.g. a small meeting room place. Secondly, a venue that could cater for when we run workshops for between 10 to 15 people. The list will be in place for the 3 year period of the programme. The approximate start date of the programme is 01/06/16. Only providers who can provide a venue with on-site parking facilities and the ability to provide refreshments will be admitted onto the list of providers. If admitted onto the list and a requirement for a venue is required the Business Liaison team will send an e-mail to the three nearest venues to a beneficiaries location to ask for price and availability. The cheapest provider will be selected. Providers should complete the attached form, including details of any applicable volume discounts and submit it via the chest by 5pm on Monday 30 May 2016 Please note that being added to the list of providers is no guarantee of any business.
