CIE seeks to engage a suitably qualified company to provide independent, vendor neutral technology related advice and research access, analysis and guidance across ICT sectors and technologies. Córas Iompair Éireann is the main provider of surface land public transport services within the Republic of Ireland. CIÉ is a statutory body, reporting to the Minister for Transport. CIÉ has 3 wholly owned subsidiary limited liability companies (Iarnród Éireann-Irish Rail, Bus Éireann-Irish Bus and Bus Atha Cliath-Dublin Bus), set-up under the Companies Acts as provided for in the Transport (Reorganisation of Córas Iompair Éireann) Act 1986. CIE seeks to engage a suitably qualified company to provide independent, vendor neutral technology related advice and research access, analysis and guidance across ICT sectors and technologies. The service may be delivered in a variety of formats or media — but must include the following as a minimum: — Direct access to analysts/experts in specific fields to discuss research, analysis, issues and opportunities; — Briefings on key topics addressing the research needs outlined above; — Access to online reports and materials through an online portal; — Access that is available to a number of individuals within the CIE Group; — Local Account Management and measurement of engagement.
