Tender description

Hampshire County Council recognises its duty under the Care Act to ensure employment and volunteering opportunities are available to people with disabilities and other vulnerable adults. The service will form a core component of HCC's response to this agenda, sourcing and supporting a variety of work and work related opportunities for people (16 years +) with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health issues, Autism and others support needs, across Hampshire. The service will make employment a realistic goal for people with support needs, contributing to the improved well-being of those using the service, creating sustainable work opportunities for service users which recognise and support the business needs of employers and benefit wider communities. An open tender process was used for the procurement exercise on a 3+1+1 years basis.
