Professional services required for 4 social housing projects at various sites in County Westmeath. Westmeath County Council is the Client. Projects will be lead by Westmeath County Council Housing Design Team. Professional services required for 4 social housing projects at various sites in County Westmeath. Westmeath County Council is the Client. Projects will be lead by Westmeath County Council Housing Design Team. Estimated construction costs exclusive of VAT are: St Laurences Terrace, Mullingar 9 units, 1 450 000 EUR; Arcadia Athlone 30 units, 4750 000 EUR; Bun Daire Kinnegad 32 units, 4 540 000 EUR; Ennell Court, Mullingar 1 units, 200 000 EUR. The house types will be in the main be single storey or 2 storey, 2, 3 or 4 bedroom semi-detached or terraced houses designed in accordance with Building Regulations and DOECLG Quality Housing for Sustainable Communities Guidelines and Lifetime Design Guidelines. The projects will be social housing developments and associated works to include roads, footpaths, storm-water drainage, sewerage, water, utilities, street lighting, site boundaries etc. On some sites additional civil engineering works will be required e.g. retaining walls, piling and ground beams. Projects are subject to statutory approval and DECLG funding approval.
