Tender description

Leicester City Council (the Authority) invited Tenders for the provision of Carpeting & Lino (supply and fitting) for successful applicants under the Community Support Grant Scheme (CSG). The Supplier will be required to visit the property, measure and provide a quotation to the Community Support Grant (CSG) Team. Where the quote has been accepted, the Supplier must contact the customer to arrange delivery and fitting with the customer/case worker at a convenient time, this may also include Saturdays in exceptional circumstances. Whilst the Authority does not have a preference for any particular type of carpet, any of the following may be suitable: — Dublin Heathers Twist or Galton Twist (twist pile); — Aintree (loop pile); — Stainsafe Moorland Twist (cut pile). Please note, the above list is not exhaustive and is used as an example only. Other carpets may be suggested so long as they offer a cost effective solution at a reasonable quality. Rooms requiring flooring generally include: hall/stairs/landing; bedrooms; living/dining rooms.
