Tender description

The Underwater and Electronic Warfare (UEW) team within the Ships Operating Centre of Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) has a potential requirement for a single supplier framework agreement for the provision and support of diving and ancillary equipment for the UK Ministry of Defence. The intention is that all military diving equipment including but not limited to; suits, tools, compressors, cylinders etc. will be procured and supported under this framework agreement. It is anticipated that this contract will be awarded in the FY 17/18 for a period of 5 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years. The value of this requirement is estimated between 50 000 000 - 70 000 000 GBP. This Prior Information Notice has been issued to notify the market of this potential requirement. This is not a formal call for competition however if you wish to notify the Authority of your interest should this opportunity arise, please provide confirmation in an email with brief company profile to DESShipsComrcl-MCS-CI-2a2@mod.uk Your email will help inform the Contracting Authority on the strength of the market for this requirement. Please note that your email will not be officially assessed as part of the procurement process. In the event that the Authority proceeds with this procurement, official expressions of interest will be recorded through the completion of the PQQ that accompanies a Contract Notice advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).
