WHC - Process and Sale of Comingled Recyclates

Tender description

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (The Council) acting as the Lead Authority for the Hertfordshire Waste Partnership (HWP) wishes to enter into contractual arrangements with a suitably qualified tenderer for the processing and sale of commingled recyclates for a period of 7 years commencing on 1st February 2017 with the possibility of a further 3 year extension subject to market testing and mutual agreement with the service provider. The following authorities will join the contract on the 1st February 2017: • Three Rivers District Council • Watford Borough Council • Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council Dacorum Borough Council will join the contract on the 1st November 2017. None of the Authorities mentioned in paragraphs above will be able to leave the contract until the end of the initial term and no further Councils will be permitted to enter the contract.
