Scottish Water intends to progress with one of the two following options, or a combination of these options: Option 1 a)At Dalmarnock and Daldowie WwTWs — The design, manufacture, delivery and commissioning of a Tertiary Chemical Dosing plant for the purposes of achieving the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive total phosphorus discharge requirement of 1mg/l. b)Tertiary Chemical Dosing and high rate clarification plant for phosphorus removal c)All necessary instrumentation and controls including MCCs d)Chemical storage and dosing plant for coagulant and floculant. e)New sludge dewatering facilities including sludge holding tanks, to form a sludge cake with appropriate storage, handling & transportation Option 2: a)At Dalmarnock and Daldowie WwTWs — The design, manufacture, delivery and commissioning of a Granular Activiated Sludge Plant for the purposes of achieving the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive total phosphorus discharge requirement of 1mg/l. b)Granular Activated Sludge Process c)All necessary instrumentation and controls including MCCs d)Chemical storage and dosing plant for coagulant and/or floculant. e)New sludge dewatering facilities including sludge holding tanks, to form a sludge cake with appropriate storage, handling & transportation Scottish Water reserves the right to proceed with the option that provides the best (i) commercial and (ii) technical solution meeting economic and process parameters. Bids that do not satisfactorily meet the required standards required will not be considered. Additionally Scottish water reserves the right to reconsider submitted bids if as a result of additional subsequent analysis the preferred option bid does not meet economic and process parameters. For pre-qualification purposes applicants will be expected to be of sufficient economic standing to deliver the project which is estimated within a value range of 5 000 000 and 15 000 000 per lot and within a value range of 10 000 000 and 30 000 000 for both lots.
