Renal dialysis consumables

Tender description

Following a competitive tendering exercise for a capital rolling replacement contract for Haemodialysis machines and associated consumables (OJEU ref: 2012/S198-325289) the dialysis unit has standardised its haemodialysis machines and now has 21 Fresenius machines. The consumables were previously being bought from a national framework under Lot 4 of the tender which was awarded for Haemodialysis Machines, Machine Maintenance and machine specific consumables (consumables to be bought from national framework). This national framework has since expired. The proposed contract is for the supply of Haemodialysis consumables from Fresenius Medical Care for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 12 + 12 months.
