Proposed Replacement of Windows and Doors at Various Council Managed Industrial Units

Newark and Sherwood District Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to carry out replacement of doors and windows to its industrial premises at various locations in Clipstone, Blidworth, Boughton, Sutton on Trent and Bilsthorpe. The project involves removing existing doors and windows and replacing them with PVCu units. The works are to commence on Monday 11th July 2016 and must be completed by Friday 16th September 2016. The windows and doors are to be installed in accordance with the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) ‘Good Practice Guide for the Installation of Replacement Windows and Doors’. The works are notifiable under CDM 2015 and the successful contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the regulations are met. Tender submissions for the project are to be submitted based on the terms and conditions set out in the documentation provided.
