NHSGG&C Paediatric Audiology Department has a requirement to replace 26 each Automated Auditory Brainstem Response Screeners and the associated Consumables to support a birth population of 16 500 per annum. The AABRS equipment must comply with the specifications as detailed in ‘Automated Auditory Brainstem Response — Information and Guidance for Screening in Babies’ (Mason et al Aug 2002). NHSGG&C require a solution either with the 26 Units supplied on a ‘Free of Charge On Loan’ basis with the ongoing purchase of the consumables or the outright purchase of the 26 Units and the ongoing purchase of the related consumables.
