STAR Shared Procurement Service, on behalf of Parkfield Primary School are looking to Procure a School Meals Service commencing 1st September 2016. The school is seeking a company that can deliver fresh, exciting and continually evolving food offers. Tastes are varied and there is a requirement for an attractive selection of dishes, this dictated by personal taste as much as by religion or ethnic mix; equally there is a high awareness and an acute interest in the different type of foods available, how the raw products are sourced and of the overall approach to sustainability of the contractors. School is keen to support local suppliers where possible to support our local community. School would welcome the provision of a qualified chef to oversee the professional development of catering staff in school for an agreed initial period, followed by regular visits in relation to continuing professional development and monitoring of meals. Bidders should include regular use of appropriate themes and events.
