London Boroughs of Harrow, Brent and Ealing are collaborating as part of the North West London (NWL) Outer sub region to procure an integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Service. This is part of the London Sexual Health Tranformation Programme (LSHTP)involving 22 boroughs led by West London Alliance (WLA). The London Sexual Health Services Transformation Programme aims to deliver a new collaborative commissioning model across the participating councils for sexual health services in London and in particular open access GUM services. The North West London Outer sub region aligning with the LSHTP aims to deliver a new model of clinical service delivery to ensure that: 1. Good quality services are accessible to all London residents and visitors; 2. an integrated sexual and reproductive health system which includes GUM, CaSH, HIV prevention, HIV Support, Primary Care and other sexual health related services; 3. sexual and reproductive health pathways redesigned in a way to operate as part of a Pan London wider sexual and reproductive health system that can meet future needs, effective demand management and provide excellent value for money; 4. it measurably improves performance on key PH outcomes in particular prevention and early diagnosis of HIV, prevention and reductions in the incidence of STIs and unwanted teenage pregnancy London councils are commissioning effectively including seeking cost effective benefits from lower transacting and operating costs for boroughs; 5. Service costs are reduced and that services can be maintained in light of significant pressures on budgets. Harrow, Brent and Ealing and have created this collaborative opportunity to procure an integrated sexual and reproductive health service. The aim is to improve the patient experience, improve sexual health outcomes and provide successful cost effective delivery of excellent services across the NWL Outer sub region.
