Tender description

This is a prior information notice (PIN) only: publication and call for competition will be conducted once scope of work is fully defined and approved. DFID is considering all routes to market including the use of the CSSF framework. The UK's Department for International Development (DFID) is considering procurement of a supplier to work under a new programme entitled ‘Palestinian Youth Project’. It is envisaged that project implementation would commence in approximately 5 months, and would be a 30 month contract, with review points throughout. The purpose of this programme, and responsibility of the supplier, will be to design, deliver, monitor and evaluate a project tackling the drivers of instability in Palestinian communities across Lebanon. The expected impact of the intervention is that social stability and resilience are enhanced through a reduction in inter-and intra-community tension. The supplier is expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of the political context in Lebanon and extensive access to Palestinian communities across the country. The exact scope of the work is yet to be finalised, and we welcome comments from the market on this.
