Tender description

Irish Water is currently advancing the Lough Mask Regional Water Supply Scheme — Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Design Build Operate Contract comprising the upgrade and expansion of the existing raw water intake works and water treatment plant to achieve a treated water output of 54 000 m³/day. The existing water treatment plant is capable of a treated water output of 38 000 m3/day. The works required under the contract are to be delivered on a Contractor Design- Build-Operate basis. The DBO contract is approx. 18 months Design and Build including a process proving period and with a 1 year Operation and Maintenance period. The planned works are necessary to ensure compliance with EU Directives, Irish National Standards and Regulations relating to treated water for human consumption.
