Tender description

Queens University Belfast has appointed a contractor for the provision of an electronic scheduling system for student clinical placement allocations for the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The system includes the capability to be rolled out to other Schools within the University as appropriate. It is important that the system is capable of being accessed remotely by students, placement providers and academic staff with appropriate levels of access and security. It is also important that the system provides users with an intuitive interface for data entry, review and reporting. Other Schools within the University may in the future wish to use a similar electronic scheduling system and therefore any solution will ideally have the flexibility to adapt to the various demands within the University as appropriate. The University therefore reserves the right to purchase additional similar software over the next 5 years from award of contract up to the total value of 500 000 GBP.
