Tender description

This public procurement competition is for the provision of a service to keepers for the supply of bovine identification ear tags, birth registration documents and ancillary services. The Contracting Authority is seeking to select 1 single supplier for the supply and distribution of all the following: Conventional Tags (and applicators); Tissue Tags (and applicators); Electronic Tags (and applicators) that combine all the features of Conventional Tags; Electronic Bolus (and applicator); Replacement Tags; and Birth Registration Documents. This public procurement competition is for the provision of a service to keepers for the supply of bovine identification ear tags, birth registration documents and ancillary services. The Contracting Authority is seeking to select one single supplier for the supply and distribution of all the following: (a)Conventional Tags (and applicators); (b)Tissue Tags (and applicators) which provide for tissue sampling for detection of BVD and DNA analysis subsequent to the BVD test; (c)Electronic Tags (and applicators) that combine all the features of Conventional Tags; (d)Electronic Bolus (and applicator); (e)Replacement Tags; and (f) Birth Registration Documents. Tenderers must tender for all of the items listed above. Tenderers that fail to tender for the items as indicated will be rejected as non compliant. Payment for Services will be made directly by keepers to the successful Tenderer. The Contracting Authority will not be liable for any fees, expenses, costs, outlay or liabilities incurred by the successful Tenderer including the non-payment by keepers in the delivery of the Service.
