Tender description
The Parliamentary Estates Directorate seeks to appoint a contractor for a term commission of 5 years to provide measured surveys services both for day to day management of the Parliamentary Estate and also to support the implementation of BIM for Projects and Maintenance. The successful contractor will provide a general measured surveys service for the Estate providing site plans, floor plans, elevations and sections and covering M and E services and systems. The contractor will also be required to provide on-site support updating the drawings on the Parliamentary CAFM system (Archibus). As PED implements the governments construction strategy through the implementation of BIM and embarks on a series of major refurbishments of existing and newly acquired buildings, the ability to provide 3D Revit models based on point cloud scans and other techniques will be a critical requirement of the contract.
