Tender description

In accordance with best procurement practice, EU and UK Procurement Directives and Regulations and the Authority's service order, the Authority has chosen a Supplier by competitive tender for the provision of an Off Road Fire-Fighting Capability. The Authority wishes to enhance its current fleet with the procurement of the following vehicles and equipment: — 6 4x4-pick up style vehicles. — Fire fogging units to be fitted to 3 of the 4 x 4 pick up style vehicles. — 2 ATV's (each with trailers and fogging unit). — 2 towing trailers (to tow the 2 ATV's and their trailers). — 2 fire fighting capability options to be fitted to the All-Terrain Rescue Unit (ARU). That is 1 fire fogging unit and/or fire-fighting water supply capable of being fitted to the vehicle bed of the Authorities existing ARU as and when required.
