Water Hygiene and Thermostatic Mixer Valves

Midland Heart are looking to procure a Water Hygiene and Thermostatic Mixer Valves Contract. The Contract for the provision of the equipment is expected to commence on the 1st September 2016, with the exact dates to be agreed depending on the agreement between the successful provider and Midland Heart. The Contract will be awarded for an initial period of 3 years with an option to extend for another 2 years based on acceptable performance. The basis of the contract will include: • Servicing, installation and repair of Thermostatic Mixer Valves (TMVs) • Legionella monitoring • Legionella risk assessments • Bacterial sampling • Unvented cylinder servicing, installation and repairs • Booster set servicing • General plumbing installation and repairs • The above listed functions will primarily take place in Care and Support properties. The Contract value is estimated to be £755,204 per annum based on the budget for 2016 and previous years spend. Total estimated Contract value of £3,776,020 inclusive of VAT. It must be noted that these figures are inclusive of VAT and are in no way guaranteed. The scope of this Contract will cover General Needs Housing but will be mainly focused on Midland Heart’s Care and Support properties which will include; Care Villages, Extra Care Housing, Older Peoples Housing and Supported Housing.
