Vehicle Hire Service - Framework Agreement, Portsmouth

Tender description

Portsmouth City Council is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers to tender to be appointed to this Framework. The scope of which will comprise of but may not be limited to delivering services related to the supply of a vehicle hire service for work related journeys. The framework contract will be four [4] years in duration with no option to extend and will be open to the University of Portsmouth, the Portsmouth Regional Procurement Partnership (PRPP) and East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) for its duration. The estimated value of the total Framework is a range from £300,000 to £900,000 across its duration with the lower value being based on the contract with the Authority only for the minimum contract term of 3 years and the upper value including the Authority's contract for a maximum 5 year term and to accommodate potential uptake from other parties. In letting the framework the Authority is also concurrently inviting tenders for a bespoke Vehicle Hire Service for the Authority. The estimated value of the contract with Portsmouth City Council is £100,000 per annum and is to commence on 1st April 2016 for an initial three [3] year period. The term may be extended by a further two [2] years to a maximum total term of five [5] years in increments to be agreed by each party, subject to the agreement and performance of both the Supplier and the contract party.
