Soft Market Test - Oil Separator Service for Car Park

This is a soft market test. It is not a request for quotation at this stage. Following the results of the soft market test, Swindon Borough Council intends to launch a request for quotation in the near future. Responses must be made through https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk Swindon Borough Council would like to invite suppliers to participate in a Soft Market Test exercise. We are looking to establish a suitable service contract to maintain an oil separator tank in one of our Borough car parks and potentially to provide a similar service to one of our vehicle wash establishments for Borough refuse collection vehicles for example. The supplier must employ only suitably trained personnel, the services required include Draining and disposal of the residual oil or waste substance Uplift of a tank base and removal of waste or sludge using vacuum tankers Flush out of pipework and interceptors Manual cleaning of tanks using confined space trained operatives where appropriate This is NOT a request for quotation. Following this soft market test it is our intention to invite suitable organisations to tender for a contract.
