Tender description

The DfT is committed to evidence-based policy decisions. Economics and other analysis therefore plays a pivotal role in decision making, and will be instrumental in any decisions relating to changes to the night flights regime post-October 2017. Whilst the DfT has an established appraisal methodology for estimating the benefits from a night flights regime (and can therefore monetise the change in those benefits as a result of changes to the regime), the purpose of this research is to develop a methodology to estimate the change in costs associated with any change in the current regime post-2017.
