Tender description

The Authority’s Highways Division requires a Supplier of Pink Granite Kerb stones. The kerbs are being sourced to reflect and complement the existing, old granite kerbing in the surrounding streets. • Kerbs to be Pink Granite (colour G351) free from vents, cracks, fissures or defects which may adversely affect strength or durability. • Product must be produced to ISO 9001 to conform to British Standards. • Finish to be fine picked on face and top only. • Sizes to BS EN 1343 Class 2 in 1000mm lengths unless length required is less than 1000mm then length of each unit to be as stated in table below. • Manufactured to ISO 14001. • See drawing “101, 102 and 103: A Proposed Granite Kerbs, Channels and Edgings” for additional information.
