Tender description

Northamptonshire County Council ‘the Authority’ wishes to invite the Indicative Tenders for the supply of Services in respect of Community Living Services. The successful Potential Providers(s) will be responsible for providing this service and liaising closely with the Contract Manager identified by the Authority. The Council Plan aims to improve individual health and wellbeing: — People of all ages are safe, protected from harm and able to live happy, healthy and independent lives in our communities; — People have the information and support they need to make healthy choices and achieve wellbeing; — People achieve economic prosperity, in a healthy low carbon economy which gives access to jobs, training and skills development; — Communities thrive in a pleasant and resilient environment, with robust transport and communications infrastructure; — Resources are utilised effectively and efficiently, in coordination with partners and providers. This means continuing to improve the ways in which we involve people who use services, and their carers. It means working in ever increasing partnership with other agencies to ensure access for groups with social care needs to the mainstream services that everyone else takes for granted. It means developing prevention, early intervention and reablement services. It means ensuring that there is fair access to good value services with a skilled workforce, and it means ensuring that vulnerable adults are safeguarded from harm.
