Tender description

The purpose of this tender process is to award a framework agreement for the provision of Fly Ash Disposal and Associated Services at the Company's Shell Green Site in Widnes. The Company requires an end to end management service for the loading, transportation and disposal and/or recycling of the Company's Fly Ash. Whilst it is preferred that all Ash is re-used / recycled the Company is tendering this service to find the most commercially advantageous, compliant and sustainable way of disposing of its Fly Ash in accordance with all necessary legislation and approved codes of practice. The successful supplier shall provide the Company with a comprehensive, reliable and sustainable waste management service for all Fly Ash produced from its Shell Green site. Services shall include: — Dedicated account management; — Daily liaison with Shell Green site regarding their production levels; — Working closely alongside Shell Green to deliver an efficient service for this site; — A thorough waste collection service in-line with the sites requirements; — Collection of Fly Ash; — Provision of suitable vehicles that meet the loading areas size restrictions; — Ability to manage all of the estimated 14 000-18 000 tonne of Fly Ash per annum; — Requirements to weigh all sludge on-site using the weigh bridge provided; — Transportation to end destination; — Disposal/ recycling/ Re-use of ash; — Self-maintained documentation for auditing purposes; — Provision of monthly weight tickets for all ash removals from site; — Provision of electronic monthly data reports; — Clear accessible audit trails.
