The Council is seeking a fixed quotation for a Kerbside Activity Survey plus Pedestrian surveys in Kingston Town Centre. Please supply a price for activity in Area 1 and a price for Area 1&2 combined – outlined in the Pricing Schedule. Full Kerbside Activity Specification: • Kerbside activity on Wood Street and Richmond Road as shown on Plan A • To record all vehicles stopping at the kerb and the building that’s drivers/passengers subsequently visit along the entire site. Kerbside locations and Building Zone on Plans B&C. • Video footage / analysis: 7 full 24 hour days. Statistics Required Vehicle Type classification • Car • Taxi • London Bus(recording buses stopping at designated bus stops is not required) • Other buses and coaches • Light Goods Vehicles (LVGs) • Other Goods Vehicles Types 1 and 2 (OGC1 and OGV2) Date and Time of arrival and departure from kerbside Kerbside Zone stopped in Building Zone visited by driver/ passenger – this includes all doorways Vehicle stopping purpose: • Parking (vehicle is left by driver) • Waiting (no-one gets in or out of vehicle) • Drop off / Pick up (driver stays in vehicle and picks up/ drops off passengers) • Delivery and servicing (driver / passenger delivers goods or services to property / business) Pedestrian Flows Survey • Pedestrian movements on all of the footways and crossings in the whole of the study area which are marked in Plan D • Video footage/ analysis two days – 7am -7pm – on one neutral weekday and a Saturday Addition Requirements • All video footage taken on the day of the survey is to be supplied on DVD or a hard drive (in compatible .avi file format). • All results should be submitted within 15 working days of the survey date. • Price to include Traffic Management - any work undertaken is to comply with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Management Act.
