Tender description

Housing and Care 21 are tendering for the Provision of Insurances (excluding Broking and Claims Handling Services) to include: Material Damage, Business Interruption, Money, Computer, Liability, Professional Indemnity, Motor Fleet, Engineering. Lot 1 — Material Damage. Physical Loss or Damage to: Housing including buildings and contents, excluding Leasehold and Family Housing Leasehold Housing — excluding Riot, Civil Commotion, Locked-out Workers, Labour Disturbances or Malicious Persons Housing Properties — Family Housing General Properties — excluding Loss of Rent/Temporary Accommodation General Contents — excluding Loss of Rent/Temporary Accommodation Office Plant and Machinery — excluding Loss of Rent/Temporary Accommodation. Lot 2 — Money. All Risks Including Theft with Forcible and Violent entry to/from premises. Lot 3 — Business Interruption. All excluding loss of rent/temporary accommodation. Lot 4 — Computer. Insured Risks Physical Loss or Damage, including Terrorism, to: — Computer Hardware and any auxiliary or peripheral equipment — Laptops and any other mobile communication equipment. Denial of Service. Lot 5 - Public /Products/Employers Liability. Insured Risks: Legal Liability for: To indemnify the Insured in respect of all sums which the Insured shall become legally liable to pay as damages, including claimant's costs and expenses, in respect of accidental: — Injury to any person (other than an Employee if such Injury arises out of and in the course of employment by the Insured), — Damage to Property: (i) not belonging to nor in the custody or control of the Insured, (ii) not in the custody or control of an Employee or volunteer. — Damage to Property in the custody or control of the Insured or any Employee or volunteer being: (i) personal belongings including motor vehicles and their contents belonging to any director, Employee, volunteer or visitor (ii) buildings including their contents which are not owned, leased, hired or rented by the Insured — Damage to buildings and their contents including fixtures and fittings which are leased, hired or rented by the Insured but excluding: (i) liability assumed by the Insured under a tenancy or other agreement which would not have attached in the absence of such agreement (ii) the first 100 GBP of each claim for Damage unless caused by fire or explosion happening during the Period of Insurance and arising out of or in connection with the provision of the Services and in connection with the Contract and/or the Integration Agreement. Employers' Liability. Insured Risks: — Legal Liability for personal injury sustained by any employee arising out of and in the course of their employment in the business. — All legal costs and expenses incurred in defence of a claim. Such costs and expenses are included within the limit of indemnity. Lot 6 — Professional Indemnity. Insured Risks—damages and claimants' costs and expenses arising from breach of professional duty by reason of any negligent act or accidental error or accidental omission committed or alleged to have been committed by an employee in providing the services, within the territorial limits and for which a claim is first made against the insured and is notified to the insurer during the Period of Insurance —costs and expenses incurred with its written consent in defending any claim which may be the subject of indemnity under this cover. Lot 7 — Motor. Comprehensive cover for 5 minibuses used to transport residents.
