Tender description

This Framework Agreement (‘the Contract’) is for a single Provider for the Provision of Independent Visitor Service (s). This is being commissioned by Durham County Council (‘the Authority’) Children and Adults Services on behalf of: — Durham County Council, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL; — The Borough Council of Gateshead, Civic Centre, Regent Street, Gateshead, NE8 1HH; — Newcastle City Council, Civic Centre, Barras Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8QH; — North Tyneside Council, The Quadrant, Silverlink North, Cobalt Business Park, North Tyneside, NE27 0BY; — Northumberland County Council, County Hall, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 2EF; — City of Sunderland Council, Civic Centre, Burdon Road, Sunderland, SR2 7DN. Other Local Authorities across the region, not listed above, may also become part of the collaboration of Local Authorities and purchase services through this contract. The Council expects that individuals may have rights of continued employment against the successful supplier under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 on the commencement of the contract.
