The Borough Council of Calderdale is to commission a service that delivers outcome focussed, high quality specialist domestic abuse support service for adults, children and young people across Calderdale (the ‘Service’). The Service will have a strong focus on prevention and early intervention. The Borough Council of Calderdale is to commission a service that delivers outcome focussed, high quality specialist domestic abuse support service for adults, children and young people across Calderdale (the ‘Service’). The Service will have a strong focus on prevention and early intervention. In particular, the service will: — Provide outcome focussed, high quality and person centred Specialist Domestic Abuse (DA) services for adults, children and young people across Calderdale; — Have a strong focus on early intervention and prevention, with at least 40 % of activity dedicated to this; — See individuals as part of a bigger system of family relationships and as such will work closely with wider partner agencies to provide co-ordinated support for those experiencing domestic abuse; and — The service will include outreach support in areas with highest demand and have the flexibility to be accessible at those times and locations with highest need.
