Site – Former ECC Library Headquarters, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 0EN Essex Housing of Essex County Council (ECC) are supporting the delivery of housing to meet demand in the County and are developing a programme of potential housing projects. For the site above, Essex Housing are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced Architects to provide architectural services covering RIBA stages 1 to 6 for a scheme comprising approximately 32 apartments for private sale housing, affordable housing and specialist housing (representing approximately 35%) together with associated external works, landscaping and car parking. The indicative contract sum for the scheme is £3m. Please note the scheme is currently at concept design stage only and we are targeting submitting a planning application to Chelmsford City Council by no later than early Quarter Two, 2016.
