Tender description

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills Regulatory Delivery Directorate (formerly the National Measurement and Regulation Office) has a requirement for the testing of a selection of timber products to verify compliance with the EU Timber Regulation within the UK. Testing may be used as part of a criminal investigation. Therefore the supplier must confirm that they can fulfil the evidential traceability requirements laid out in ISO 17025 for supplying evidence that may be used as part of a prosecution.
