Background Cork Education and Training Board is a leading education provider in Cork City and County. It has responsibility for a wide range of education and training in Cork, including Primary, Post-Primary, Further Education, Training, Adult and Community Education and Literacy and Numeracy. Tender Details and Specifications At this time, we are inviting tenders for the supply and installation of new locks to existing school lockers at Coláiste Treasa, Kanturk, Co. Cork. The successful tenderer will be required to remove the existing locks from 490 lockers. The current locks are L&F 20mm locks 95-96 series. We require 490 heavy duty dial combination locks be supplied and fitted to the school lockers ensuring that they can be securely locked. Each lock will have a unique unlock dial code and serial number. There should be one master key available for school management which will open all lockers. We require that where necessary, the lockers are repaired to ensure that they are in satisfactory working order. We also require that after the first year, the successful tenderer will replace any broken locks and carry out repairs on any locker doors as required. Award Process The contract will be awarded from the qualifying tenders on the basis of the lowest priced tender received which satisfactorily meets the school’s specifications. Cork ETB reserves the right not to award this Tender.
