Early Years Services, these services will co-locate in a children and family centre or well-being centre in Bexley and for children aged 0-10 years and their families. 1) Home visiting to engage and encourage families to make use of children's centres services; 2) Parenting courses designed to encourage good behaviours and improve the conduct of children at home and school; 3) Mobile play team to supervise high-quality activities and sessional care to support children's centre activities. The revolutionary redesign of preventative services for children in Bexley sees the Council prioritising additional help for families both before they reach the point of statutory intervention and also at the point of crisis where a case is formally open to the social work service and a child or children are at risk of becoming looked after. In order to deliver this revised service effectively, changes and restructuring of commissioned children's services in the borough is necessary. Providers will have the opportunity to deliver the services covered either as an individual organisation or to sub contract with partner organisations.
