Roadstone

Tender description

The successful Tenderer(s) will be required to supply Roadstone and Sand to working sites in the Rotherham area including the Council's depot based at Hellaby. Occasionally goods will be collected. This will consist of single size roadstone, type 1 and 2 sub base and sand. The anticipated spend is in the region of 45 000 GBP per annum however this does not carry any guarantee of turnover and any estimated volumes of business are indicative and may vary upwards or downwards depending on actual future needs. The framework will be awarded initially for a period of 2 years, with the option to extend at the sole discretion of the Council for a further 2 years, each on a year by year basis. The intention is to award to a sole supplier, however if one supplier cannot meet the council's requirements then the tender will be awarded to additional participant(s).
