Tender description

This notice is a call for competition in accordance with Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council Article 48(2). Please advise of your interest in this tender by expressing interest using the website https://sebp.due-north.com/, login and express interest in the opportunity called reablement services. Tender documents will be sent at the end of May with a return date of end of June. Award will be completed in July with a start date initially set as 1.10.2016. All companies expressing an interest will be sent the tender documents and the expression of interest deadline date is set as 23.6.2016 (roughly 1 week before the tender closing date). The subject matter of this procurement process relates to the delivery of services which are listed to in Schedule 3 to the regulations. As such the full regime set out in the regulations will not apply to the award of the service contract. Consequently, the procurement process adopted by the Commissioners has been developed in accordance with Regulation 76 of the regulations and in particular in accordance with the fundamental public procurement principles of transparency and equal treatment. For the avoidance of doubt this means that the Commissioners have not adopted the open procedure (as such term is defined in the regulations) for the undertaking of this procurement process. The fact that in this Contract Notice at Section IV.1) the field/box relating to type of procedure may default to the term ‘Open’ does not mean that this procedure is being followed by the Commissioners. There are 2 lots where lot 1 is for a hospital discharge and reablement service and lot 2 is for a community reablement service. Lot 2 has been split into 3 geographical regions which together cover the whole of Oxfordshire. The contract will include an option to extend for up to 2 years.
