Tender description

The London Borough of Hackney seeks to utilise Information and Communication Technology (ICT) based on up-to-date technology standards and industry best practice to fully support its operational and strategic objectives in a flexible and cost effective way. The time has come to replace existing Telephony Services which are to expire in June 2016 whilst also introducing new services, namely Unified Communication services. The New Telecoms Service is to replace existing telephony services which already exploit the benefits of having Fixed-to-Mobile Convergence (FMC) as well as providing Contact Centre services. For the purpose of this Statement of Requirement the Customer has split the requirement into the following areas: • Implementation • Common Requirements • Telephony Services • Mobile data and messaging Services • Contact centre Services • Unified communications Services • Service management • Security management • Contract management The initial term of the contract will be for three (3) years with the option to extend for up to two (2) years.
